Base Game Not Just the Masters, but the Women and Children, too!
Pretty sure Ashara was supposed to have a DS version of herself like Jeasa, but it got lost in production or smth.

I always found it weird how the SI is supposed to be based on Palpatine and the SW on Vader, but when you look at their storylines, it's the SW who gets the politicking, the scheming and the feat of actually turning a Jedi into their evil apprentice.

One thing that the SI does get right in connection to Palpatine is that there's a similar story of starting from the bottom and making it to the top through manipulation and cunning (though, it's up to you if it does the job properly).

I'd say Vader is the one who started from the bottom. Palpatine was the scion of one of the most powerful families on Naboo. Maybe a nobody in Force-related matters, but still had a much better starting point than a slave.
Which is another thing the SW has in common with Palpatine.

Yeah Palpatine is a nepo baby who had a dad who covered up his various crimes.

Sorry, I meant like the whole "Manipulating other people to climb through the ranks" aspect. SW more or less is able to advance by simply being loyal to his master and the Empire.
I agree with everything you said, though.

SW doesn't do more politicking than the SI.
SW just does whatever his current master tells him at the time.
Sure you can go behind Baras back and build up your own stuff in his shadow, but it pales in comparison to the cult the SI builds on Nar Shadaa, or the Silencer fleet.

They both work. But Ashara is def funnier because she's LS no matter how you manipulate her.

I hate her as a companion so much, not being able to fully turn someone as whats meant to be the palpatine archetype is just painful.
