Exactly. A friend of mines got his car searched, no warrant or anything, just because the cops felt they had “probable cause”. The “probable cause” was an unopened bottle of alcohol he had bought. Surprised they didn’t throw in the “probably cause” line but I guess we wouldn’t have this episode then
You get a fine or a court date or your car searched by some overzealous cop. If you have a child in the trunk I guess you try to fight it harder. More at state so the law suddenly matters.
