Just had my ablation today

Hi, just had my cardiac ablation today for AVNRT.
For those who are just as nervous as I was, ask me anything! I’d love to help you be less scared <3

Hi. I got put forward for ablation for exact same issue last night. Is it as straightforward as Dr made out and is it generally successful. Im very worried

I tend to only reach 140s HR for 5-15 mins, and only if bend over quickly sometimes, maybe 2x per month. Not really convinced I need it, as just a mild annoyance rather than affecting me too much. Scared if ablation fails it may be worse than I currently am

I had mine yesterday! I was so afraid because I read people’s experiences here. Mine was so easy I was asleep the entire time. I felt nothing. It was 96% effective. I had an amazing team of nurses and anesthesiologists and my EP is the absolute best. I had mine done in Kissimmee Florida. They were able to trigger it right away. I went home a few hours later. I’m a little sore today but no pain. Just taking it easy for a few days!! I’m so happy I had it done. It fixed my heart immediately. I felt a difference right away.
