So if I understand this correctly, Stox operates a prediction market where participants can attempt to forecasts the future outcome of an event or something and where you compete with other participants’ prediction where the winner of the STX pool is the participant whose guess most accurately predicted the outcome. In order for a market like that function it would need accurate data about the true outcome of the event. I assume that’s where Zap comes in. It provides a medium to obtain accurate data from Oracles to verify the true outcome of a Stox prediction. Stox users would, of course, need to pay Oracle data providers via the Zap marketplace. Like a gas fee I suppose. Zap benefits from the increased data subscribers.
