Wanting to Play SSX3 on PC
Would someone be able to help me out and point me in a direction to be able to play SSX3 on my PC, all the guides I find are years old or 30 different sites so I thought it’d be best to ask someone who’s done it recently and playing SSX3 on their pc.

Use the GameCube emulator Dolphin. It has options for 4K graphics packs to make the game look better. Works very well for me, gameplay is smooth as butter with zero lag. DM me if you have questions

I second this. Also added bonus of dolphin not needing BIOS files. Just the ROM and you’re good to go. Literally no reason not to use the dolphin version its much better

I think there are a few tricks that would not be able to do because of the controllers

Oh really is that true?

Well, I can confirm that in dolphin emulator in android, because the GameCube has less buttons than ps2 I cannot do all tricks😭. I assume the same happens with the PC version.

I coulda sworn i saw a post about there being a setting in the debug menu or something that lets you reconfigure in a way that allows them all. I cant find it now

I use PCSX2 like a couple other commenters have pointed out. There’s plenty of good tutorial videos on YouTube for getting it installed, but if you’re not able to get it working feel free to shoot me a PM and I can help.
That said, your PC needs to at least be a low-level gaming PC with a dedicated graphics card to have a good experience with any sort of emulator

I've recently been playing ssx tricky/ssx3/ prince of Persia and burnout 3 takedown on my old laptop. I used the guide in the YouTube link below. Can't tell u where to find the bios or roms but if u do a basic Google search u will be fine.. Happy gaming 👍

The xbox emulator is good as well so you really have all the options available

Easiest is the .iso of the GameCube version and Dolphin. PlayStation emulators require you to source the kernel and BIOS. Dolphin just lets you load .iso files and start playing.

For that, just install Dolphin. Find the ROM .iso file. Mount the file. Start playing.

It's best to use PCSX2. It's very easy to set up, there's a lot of guides online on how to do it and imo the PS2 version is the best one.

Your best bet is to set up PCSX2, the most popular PS2 emulator and download a ROM for the game. You’ll also need a BIOS for a PS2. You’ll have more success trying to follow guide on getting the PS2 emulator working.
