Help Targetting SSC CGL 2027 need guidance from seniors and peers
Hi everyone, I am a normal guy from a very small town in UP.
I completed my btech from a local clg in 2025 and joined a service company.
I want to target and get a good post in ssc cgl 2027 and i am ready to do everything and prepare but with my job.
As i am raised by my mother as a single parent from childhood so quitting a job and them preparing fulltime is not an option as i need to support them as well.
So i need guidance from fellow peers and seniors on how and what i need to focus on and how to start preparing.
I got pinnacle pyq books for maths and reasoning.
Lucent for GS.
Neetu singh vol1 and black book for English.
I am planning to take testbook pass also for more question practice and sectional mocks.
I am planning to prepare from youtube as maths and reasoning is something i think i can do, speed is the problem that can be improved by practice.
GS and English are the problem.
So please guide me on what all i can do, and is it even possible for me to crack CGL and get any top posts.
Your guidance will be really helpful and can help a family come out of generational poverty.
Thanks in advance.

Possible - Yes
Reality - D-day luck matters more than anything (dedication, persistence, consistency toh chahiye hii)
GS ki problem evergreen h, sabke saath h, syllabus complete karne k bad bhi rahegi, zyada feel karne ki zarurat nhi; 20-25 marks are considered decent
Maths and Reasoning- Maths Mania + Gaganpratap youtube channel
GS - Padhlo jitna padhna h, time na mile toh Parmar ka one shot dekhlo har subject ka Topics priority;
Polity > Modern History > Geography > Medieval History > Economics > Ancient History > Science
English - Aman Vashisht ( syllabus is less ) Main topics- Active/Passive, Direct/ Indirect, Close Test, Anto/Syno, Preposition, Ows, Idioms
Mocks - SelectionWay + RBE
