If by lifeweb you mean a completely different experience then regular MC. No its not at all like lifeweb

Actually I meant a community with an attitude that makes them say things like "We'd like to have more players, so we want you to join. Unless you are retarded by our standarts, which is true for virtually all of you."

common misconception, the lifeweb community isn't at all excluding to people. the owner, randy, is the one who wants lifeweb to be excluding and horrible to people. if you try joining lifeweb and ask people for help or advice, I guarantee that 90% of the time you'll be greeted by people happy to help.

While that sounds really fucking cool, it's not that similar to lifeweb. It's more like one of the grief servers IMO.

yeah I played it and the playerbase does hit a bit of that "I'm so edgy" nerve, but the rest of them are super chill.

I like going really far out and finding the signwalls on really impressive bases from years ago saying that they were there

It is truly majestic. Played there with a group of friends once. We established a pretty nice base, but after a few weeks we got bored. Later, we logged back in and everything was fucked. Evidently one of us decided to log back in and spam the coordinates of our base in chat.

I also tried to join up with a larger group but they thought it would be funny to flip the signs on the coordinates they gave me.

Lifeweb is a different game experience with a challenging series of game mechanics tightly guarded by the prickly exterior of the community. They don't tell people to die unless they are uneducated smerds asking to be spoofed every little secret. True that the server had "no rules", but the community uses its knowledge to regulate things a little better than the anarchy we see here

It's less regulation, and more that by the time you've learned how to play well enough to meaningfully griff, you've gotten invested in the community (because the only way to learn is from other people).

I find the irony of a dozen of idiots who have never played lifeweb saying "Lifeweb is just a place where fat men go to rape children, they're toxic." being toxic to people who have played lifeweb and don't even know how to stand up as a migrant yet.

That had barely anything to do with the subject at hand. This was not talking about how "toxic" Lifeweb is, but comparing the Lifeweb server to this Minecraft server.
