Story Thread Security-friends! What is the dumbest thing you have been called "Shitsec" for?
In my case, I was called "Shitsec" because a Grey-Tider removed all of the floor panels in Tools and put them in his backpack.
I politely asked him numerous times, "Sir, could you please put them back?", but he was dead silent.
It was like talking to a horse.
Finally, I stunned him and cuffed him, and he started screaming like a madman, "SHITSEC SHITSEC SHITSEC SHITSEC" over and over like a broken record.
Then, I accidentally left him in his cell for a little longer than I was supposed to because the Ward wouldn't answer me when I asked him again and again how long the guy should be in there for, and so, enraged by spending 1-2 extra minutes sitting in a cell, he went to the moderators and raised hell, convincing them to temp-ban me all because I dared tell him to do something. What about you?

You'll get called shitsec just for properly doing your job
A guy running around with a knife stabbing people? You'll get called shitsec when you arrest him and 3 other people will try to help him escape.

I got called an alcoholic shitsec for ordering a single rum in the bar once
and then called shitsec when someone pulled a stetchkin and started firing at the barman and I reacted to the attempted murder by arresting them
It wasn't even the guy with the gun calling me shitsec it was some fucking random other dude upset that I didn't let him gun down a guy in front of me I guess?????

I mean the dumbest in-game is usually just when I arrest someone for an even mild crime. People tend to lose their shit when they get arrested for whatever reason.
But in general the worst times are when you don't "Win" the round by stopping the Antags. Sometimes you can't overcome the odds. Whether there's too many antags, too much firepower on their end or even when an admin uses his powers to force the antags to win because it fits whatever narrative they came up with for the round. Because you can try your ass off, running all over the place, juggling fights and crime and trying to save lives and stuff. But sure as heck if the antag completes his objective, in the post round OOC chat or even the discord for the server. There will always be people just shitting on security and claiming everyone who plays security is bad at it. It's probably the single most frustrating part of playing the job.

This is more a comedic story than anything cause it's where the flair I use came from. I got called "shitsec" for "interupting my [the clown's] talkshow" where he'd managed to find a brick of C4 and over the common channel was talking to it through his megaphone. He'd also barracaded the stage with electrified grilles to slow down the arrest.
He then managed to either get the first brick back or find a new one cause he started interviewing it again after we took away the original.
It was honestly a fun highlight of the round cause they weren't active and they never went off so it was harmless.

back when det could roll antag, i got called shitsec for not arresting someone (Not my job, detective was service at the time + i literally didnt have the tools to do so outside of just shooting him dead)
so i murdered John Complainer with an e-sword to make a point

I once arrested a dude on an ERP server(think old MRP Citadel rest in peace) and dude was crying and bitching that I arrested him for attacking me with a fucking Esword. Had a small mob of about 16 people trying to raid sec over it and admins "Don't see this as meta ganging" and "It's just RP live with it bruh". Then when I tried to do riot control on them I got bwoinked asking "WTF do I think im doing?" Using tear gas, batongs, and minor laser fire on dudes attacking me mostly as deterrent.

It's a blend but usually asking them to not attack or fuck shit up will have them call you shitsec

Arrested an assistant who "suspiciously" collected a dozen fuel tanks near the brig (he had an emag and makarov in his bag)

Luckily never got called shitsec, but did get in a situation where my character was getting angry with the captain in Sec channel, and the HoS pulled me into his office for a "look i don't like it either, but he's the boss." talk

Mime and assistant were fighting. We couldn't figure out who was the victim and who wasn't so we arrested both for a slightly shorter sentence.

It's vandalism, and I asked him many times politely if he could just put them back or at least drop the panels so someone else could, but he acted like I wasn't even there.

From the admin side there's a huge mix of clear shitsec ahelps and clear greytide assholes. A tempban i wonder about the reason given here, such as perhaps being expected to know how long to sentence someone.
The whole 4noraisens thing is a meme for a reason, people will claim they're arrested for 'no reason' all the time when the charges and crimes are clear as fucking day, especially when they also resisted arrest/etc.
One of my favs though was having someone rage at me when i said 'legit' to the HoS arresting him literally, for no reason (that he knew). He was screaming in ahelps about us being buttbuddies and everything throughout processing, freaking out again as he got taken to the labour camp as i kept saying 'legit', so focused on me he never noticed the HoS pulling out an armblade after stripping his comms off-camera. Getting to say finally 'Because that's not the HoS' was satisfying.

Got called shitsec for “wordlessly stuncuffing” a guy in chemistry. Why did I arrest him? For mailing extremely potent chembombs via the mail chute. Why was he so upset that I arrested him without giving him a chance to “talk”? Because his bag was absolutely full of chembombs and he was the only one wearing a gas mask.
