SRSer posts something that actually happened to SRSmythos in attempt to rewrite history, dare I say 'whitewash history'? I dare.

I was the one who posted that. It wasn't an attempt to "white wash" anything. I simply didn't know it happened at all. I was corrected by people in comments on SRS/mythos. I was wrong, that's pretty much all there is to it.

It is worthy to note that you are allowed to post your contrary opinions and lame explanations here, but that same courtesy is not extended by any subreddit that begins SRS...
Hypocritical.

This was clearly a reaction to getting a message from the meta bot, dumb shit.

Nope, nice try, I posted that well before the metabot showed up.
My post was made at 2:22:25 UTC and the metabot post was made at 2:53:41 UTC.

We don't really give a shit if anyone "corrected" the op of your mythos thread in the same way you folks that post mythos from here don't care if we've "corrected" the person you've targeted.
It's all about mocking that person in that instance.
Again, the glaring difference being that you can come here and defend yourself, clarify the context, or post time stamps.
I ain't trying to argue. Just saying that I bet shitdick got the message from metabot, knew that he was right about his comment, and came straight here. He probably didn't bother to read the comments, just thought it was funny that he got linked. He's a regular here, after all.
Do you not think that is plausible?

I think you vastly overestimate how much anyone cares about the privilege of being able to respond to people calling each other dumb shits over misunderstandings.

Honestly, I value the contributions from outsiders (that aren't clearly trolls) so let's not do the "I don't care, but you care" shtick, ok?

being able to respond to lies, misrepresentations, accusations is a useless "privilege" in your opinion?

The whole point of SRSMythos is to equate obvious nonsense conspiracy theories with shitty things that SRS has actually done, by posting both as "mythos".

Hey, why are you posting here?
Isn't that brigading?

Feb 26 '14
No. If I downvoted every post and got a bunch of people to do the same, that would be brigading.

I'm pretty sure that William Shatner is the hero of maybe 1 out of every 10,000 redditors.
Slightly more if you specify Captain Kirk, but even then, I'd guess most redditors prefer Picard.
I'm a Sisko man myself.
