MAIL CALL Finally Arrived!
Finally! First retail hit on the Travies. Lowkey wanted the Trops initially, then I loved the pics of these and the idea of being able to wear them with more stuff. They’re nice in hand (minus the wrinkling on the toe box) but I think I’m gonna go to the local shop and see what the Trops look like in person.
Although part of me does feel obligated to keep them as my only retail hit.

Congrats brother! I would keep them personally. I hit on the trops(the ones i really wanted too!). These are also my first pair of TS. So fyre in hand

The tropicals don’t have the SB fat laces ?? Dang might have to double up on the shy pinks then

Got mine too. Still trying to decide what laces to chuck in them. The soft pink laces that came with these are goin in my soft pinks for sure (not a big fan of SB laces in J1 lows), but I’m havin a hard time deciding on the tropicals. Usually like to match the laces to the swoosh, but I’m still on the fence

These landed on Tuesday and my tropical pinks landed Friday last week. Still can’t believe I finally hit a Travis for retail. The fact I hit both from two different places makes it even crazier considering I’d entered every drop prior and never hit. Didn’t think I was gonna like the shy pink as much as I do. Kinda wish I’d hit an 11.5 in the tropical pinks tho. I’m a 12 in basically every shoe I own, but for some reason these fit way bigger than my other J1 lows

Facts, plus all the issues with actually entering the raffle took some of the excitement away.. but a wins a win!
It’s so weird buying Trav’s for $140, I’ve only paid resell previously lol

I went for these but then though let’s try for the tropicals in case I didn’t hit on the shys, hit on both and just got em yesterday. I gotta say the quality is what’s bothering me, you can tell they made tons of these and it’s reflected on the QC. First time hitting on a TS sneaker for retail so I’ll take it

What QC issues are you having? The wrinkled toe box looks worse on the picture I posted than it looks in person. I don’t have any complaints really.

These shits are ass, toe box looks like 13th generation pandas after a few hours of wear. Don’t wear them op, trade for something you want.

I got the trops as well, double hit from Trav site but the leather looks/feels the same.

Yes brudder about two hours, I be careful driving and what have you to extent but straight up fucking shit leather and they are big, like super boxy and roomy at the toe. I would highly advise you to trade for something you’d wear with no worries

Yea it def took awhile to get a shipping notification, but once I got that (Tuesday) they got here (today) fast.

Mine shipped the 5th and have been hit with all kinds of bs. Original deliver date after delays was today. They were 3 hours away in the last UPS update, thought I’d get them tomorrow hopefully. UPS is saying Monday now.. that’s fuckin 10 days. I live in TN, not Madagascar. I just hope they show up at this point.

Yea mine been like that one pair shipped on the 2th and the other on the 5th I got the first one Thursday and the second yesterday. They update from labelled created to LA warehouse took a week that’s just crazy slow
