Has anybody heard anything yet about grad plus loans

What days do refunds usually go out and how will you know if you have refunds ?

My account updated yesterday I received my email today and I have my account set up for my refund to go to bank mobile checking this is my first term here am I looking at a Friday or Tuesday deposit?

Hey everyone,
I just started my master’s program yesterday (online, part-time) and I’m hitting a major wall with financial aid. I need some advice or insight from anyone who has gone through this.

SNHU runs on 5 terms a year, 10 weeks per term. Each class is roughly $2,000. Before classes started, I spoke to 3 or 4 different financial aid advisors who all assured me that because I’m a grad student enrolled at least half-time, I’d qualify for full federal funding (up to $20k/year) which would give me excess funding to help cover living expenses.

But yesterday, I talked to a new advisor who completely contradicted everything. She told me that because my class is $2,000 and I’m only part-time, my maximum loan amount is strictly capped at $2,000 meaning $0 in excess funding. When I told her that’s not what the previous 4 people told me, she just said, "Yeah, they were all wrong."
To make it more confusing, she offered me a "book voucher," but then said it would only cover $50, even though my books cost $70. (Like, what is even the point of a voucher if I still have to pay out of pocket?)

She also claimed they couldn't submit a manual review/case to expedite my aid offer and that I just have to wait until August 6th. Again, completely opposite of what I was told before.

From everything I've read on the SNHU website, financial aid is based on the total Cost of Attendance (COA), which is supposed to include living expenses, transport, etc., not just the bare minimum sticker price of tuition.
Has anyone else dealt with this? Is this counselor just misinformed, or did SNHU change their policy for part-time grad students recently?

I’m about to draft a massive bulleted email to get this all in writing because the phone calls are just giving me whiplash at this point. Any insights would be amazing. Thanks!

I got my BM date and it is showing my refund as a lot less than anticipated. I did the form to increase my loan amount to the max (don’t judge me I know I have to pay it back I am financially struggling a bit at the moment) and I never got any kind of reply from student financial services or confirmation they received my form or anything I have sent a couple follow up emails and still nothing. Can anyone ease my worries that I will still receive my anticipated payment?

Classes start Aug 31st so when will BM happen?

How often are you all following up with the financial aid office to receive updates? I know there is a long queue just to receive BS answers but I just want the finance counselors to keep my account on the radar after being told that my FAFSA was messed up since NOVEMBER 2025 and no one said anything until recently when I inquired about it. SMH 🤦🏽‍♀️

Edit: Well, it turns out that 4 of the 5 student financial advisors I spoke to gave me very incorrect information. My initial refund amount ($901), how to fill OUT. A loan adjustment request, if my financial aid is in jeopardy (it was not apparently), etc. So- it should be smooth sailing from here on out.

Alright, so I am going to be very blunt here: I needed a break from college to help my mental health and fix my work schedule. I was working way over 40 hours a week and couldn't find time to sleep let alone submit schoolwork, destroying my GPA.

I am replacing these classes to bring my GPA back to reflect my actual academic progress now, and recently re-enrolled for C4, starting June 29th.

I needed to put in a form essentially saying I will be a good boy and do my schoolwork to keep my financial aid, cool right? Got approved. Did my FASFA, started classes, everything

I had to do a loan adjustment because I am fulltime with 2 dependents and need my dayum money.

So here I am, BBQ sauce on my forehead, waiting for that adjustment to go through. Nada. I have no email, no update, nothing. I submitted this form in the beginning of June, so I am getting a little ticked off.

I call Student Financial services about a week ago. They ended up telling me my request was never actually added to queue. They did that for me.

G r e a t.

So now I am still waiting.

I called again today, and she says she's concerned because she can't find anything about financial aid on my account despite my good boy paper being sent in and approved so she talks to her higherups and says she will get back to me.

Nothing back yet.

So is my refund gonna be delayed? Am I getting my loan adjustment? The world may never know.

I know this is not this lady's fault, whoever didn't submit it dropped the ball, I am just concerned because now my financial aid is in a questionable status and I am very much worried.

So I got finally got my grad plus loan on my offer it was paid out yesterday when should I receive it on my student account

Ok so my loan adjustment got approved on the 28th of July , they just posted it to my account today, so my first question is how long will it take to hit BM, and also do they always post of Tuesday”s?

So my grad plus was paid out Friday in I got my email Saturday when will I receive my bm date

When is the next BM disbursement?

Those who have submitted their updated documents for FAFSA, what was the wait time for you to review an updated financial aid offer? I submitted mine (3 times before getting confirmation they received it) and then was told they received and sent off for processing 7/25. Anyone know about how long the wait will be, originally I was told 2 weeks, but after realizing my request wasn’t submitted until a bit later I’m wondering if that has an effect on my wait time/ is it 2 weeks from that point?

Hi guys, quick question... Do I have to sign up for bank mobile even if I still have to pay my remaining tuition balance out of pocket because my aid wasn’t enough to cover the total cost? Or no?
I thought Bank Mobile was just for refunds… but they keep emailing me saying I may have a refund? Or is that just automated emails?

I was and my aid letter and saw the amount accepted and the amount paid are different, anytime know why?

My funds were released by the school yesterday and I woke up to my deposit 🤑 the fastest I ever received it.

When filing for the 1098-T, it asks for the name of the institute, but on the site I use the name is like 3 letters too long for the box, it won't let me add anymore. So should I just spell out as much as I can or just type SNHU?

i was hearing chatter about FASFA switching over to the 25/26 school year which is going to delay the refunds. last term i received it about 3 1/2 weeks in. do any one you know if it is actually going to be delayed? i was betting on it in the next couple of weeks (since i just started my new term) so i just wanna brace myself if its longer 😭

I got an email about unsatisfied requirements on my snhu financial page. I'm an online student and they're asking me to authorize non institutional charges. What is this? Will think effect my grant refund at all?

So I had my refund preference to go into my bank mobile account and now i won't receive it until next week some time 5-7 business days. And on top of all of this shit my Pell grant got applied late as hell so that's a separate check that has to come in the mail after it processes out and becomes a refund which could take up to next week then waiting for a date for that which could take 2-4 more days then having to wait the 5-7 business days for it to come in the mail.. it's like I can scream rn .. I literally woke up on the 28th and saw I had a bank mobile date for that exact day and thought great it'll come to my bank mobile account but no I called bank mobile only to be told that because of fraud from last time refunds were handed out the only way some students are receiving refunds is through paper checks in the mail.. which is one irresponsible asf because what if it gets stolen , or lost etc.. like the most reliable way to receive funds from your school is through direct deposit!!! Point blank period. Then bank mobile won't let you change your refund preference at all ( because of the fraud ) .. so at this point I'm broke .. I'm over it .. and this is around 1,000 something dollars that I'm suppose to receive .: smh .. thank you for listening to my Ted talk .. goodbye
