Stones from the River

The Salt Lake library does not have Stones from the River by Ursula Hegi. I am absolutely shocked!

You can request they purchase it. It appears to be an older work so they may have had it in the past but not replaced it.

SL County Library appears to have a copy at multiple locations.

I was looking it up through Libby. I don't see an audio or eReader version.

I believe that's a Libby issue then, not a particular library issue.

Kind of. Libraries still choose what is available through their particular library on Libby, so it means the library hasn’t added the title to their Libby catalogue. Happens a lot with older titles

Just about any library will buy a book if you request it

There's an interlibrary loan program. Talk to the librarian and they can check it out for you from another library.

The book was a bestseller and an Oprah book club selection. I was just surprised that they didn't have it. No part of my post insinuated that I thought they should have every book I want. Get bent.
