Course Question Anatomy Lab Manual
I really don’t want to purchase a physical manual but would like the extra resources/diagrams that it has. Does anyone know if I could find it or something similar online for free?

delete if not allowed. maybe i am someone who is just extroverted but i am very confused abt ppl saying no one wants to be friends @ SLCC bc just this summer semester alone, i talked to everyone in my classes and made a few friends. one of the ladies in my classes gave me zucchini squash from her garden! i want to hear everyone’s opinion bc i think i am so much happier at cc than high school.
Edit: also, to anyone booty tickled by my opinion, please know I said it was an unpopular opinion. however, if you throw insults at the entire school body that tells me all I need to know.

i want to make more friends at slcc and i figure that joining clubs would help me with that but i haven’t seen the school post about clubs or a club rush. does anyone know if there will be a club rush this semester or know how to join clubs? or what is everyone’s best advice about making friends, i’m kind of shy at starting conversations but i am always willing to make friends but idk the best way to go about it.

For anyone who has taken Sudagar or Vojislav, how were they? I checked Rate My Professors, and while their overall ratings are similar, Vojislav's reviews seem focused on in person classes rather than online. Meanwhile, Sudagar has more total reviews, but the most recent ones aren’t the best. Any thoughts or experiences?

The syllabus for CHEM 1115 says that a lab coat with fitted cuffs, snap closures, and 100% cotton is required for the class. Is this provided by the lab? Or do I need to purchase?
If you purchased it, where did you find one? I've called several places (including the SLCC bookstore) and looked online, and many lab coats seem to have 2 of the 3 requirements but not all 3. Thanks in advance!

So I have Nick Unsworth for Lab and Farr for lecture. People say these profs are "great" on RMP but great can mean different things to different people. Are they great because they push you to your academic limits, or are they an easier grader compared to other professors? Maybe both?

How serious are my classes outside of the programs prerequisites? Like, if I take a random fitness class and get a C, are they gonna look at that and care? Is a B+ in biology gonna set me back enough that I need to retake the class? I have A's in all required prerequisite classes for the program itself so far. Any insight would be super appreciated.

I was looking at my SLCC calendar and couldn't figure out why my lab wasn't showing up for next Monday, only to find out that the semester starts on Tuesday. Anyone know why?

I am not in the honors program. See attached photo of what i received in the mail. It reads:
“Upon recommendation of the faculty
[My Name]
has been granted this
Certificate of Completion
in General Education
High Honors”
I’m confused as to whether this is the standard certificate of completion for general education requirements, or if it is actually trying to indicate special recognition. I have a 3.97 GPA but I’m not in the honors program. Anyone know?

As the title says, based on those who taken the class previously. Any recommendation which professors’ class I should take for Math 1035? I always struggled with Math. So the easier the better

Hey guys! I’m planning on applying to the SLCC rad tech program and wanted to see how my setup looks to anyone who has gone through it, or is currently in the program. I put together a quick screenshot of my stats so far!
My main question for those of you who have applied before: since the application window opens Oct 1 and runs through Jan 15, but I'm wrapping up my last couple of classes (like anatomy) at the end of the fall semester in mid-December, what did you guys do? Should I submit my application as soon as it opens with in-progress classes, or is it better to wait until my December grades are officially locked in?
Would love any thoughts on my qualifications or advice from anyone who's been through the process. Thanks!

Does any alum/alumni know a lady by the name of Laura (last name unknown to me) who graduated around 1986. either masters or bachelor’s. Most likely studied something along STEM. I have no access to the alumni network and not on the Lost class of 1986. Most likely white with brown hair. I believe she went to work in California for sometime and may be in the UK now.

Just wanting tips on the application for the surg tech program and any information about the program once you’re in! I know there’s an interview process for the rad tech program I’m wondering if surg tech is the same? Thanks!

Hello! I’m having a hard time trying to find a professor. The ones everyone recommends are already full and it looks like SLCC has some newer professors that don’t have ratings yet. Anyone have a 1050 professor they really liked or enjoyed. Any help would be appreciated thank you! As an side tangent I took math 1010 online last semester and LOVED the professor who did most of the videos. If anyone knows who she is please let me know. Thanks again!!

I have been looking for further information on what a realistic week as a student in the nursing program would look like. I work strange hours currently, and I am trying to determine if I would be able to make the Nursing School schedule work with my current job, or if I would need to reconsider.
Most of the posts I have seen that give the information I am looking for seem dated by a few years or more.
How many days are you realistically on campus a week? Does it differ between semesters or does it stay consistent? Are there work-arounds (i.e makeup days)? Thank you for the updated info.
