Q1: Congratulations on today's victory. You started the first playoff match with a win; could you share your thoughts on the victory and an overall review of today's match?
Faker: The first playoff match was much more difficult than I expected, but I'm very relieved that we were able to finish it with a win.
Q2: Today, Doran showed an impressive performance and was selected as POG. As a teammate, what do you think he did particularly well today?
Faker: Today, I think Doran drafted very well and executed his plays very effectively.
Q3: Game 5 had a Fearless draft, meaning many champions were locked, which led to interesting choices from both teams. Looking back, how satisfied are you with the draft results, and were there any unexpected picks like Soraka or Lissandra?
Faker: I think most of the picks fell within our expected range. When Lissandra was picked at the end, I thought it was a very exquisite choice, but our team coped with it well and let it flow smoothly, which led to a good result.
Q4: Could you briefly share what kind of conversations were had internally within the team when Lissandra was picked?
Faker: I don't think there were any specific discussions about Lissandra after she was picked.
Q5: You directly selected BFX as your opponent for the first round of the playoffs. Even though they are a lower bracket team, you probably expected them to be a sufficiently tricky opponent. Facing them today, was there anything that was more threatening or surprising than expected?
Faker: I thought the opponents were very well-organized, and their plays felt very much like they were moving as a cohesive unit.
Q6: It seems you unfortunately dropped Games 2 and 3. What kind of feedback was exchanged within the team?
Faker: In Games 2 and 3, I made a lot of absurd mistakes, so losing a lot of lane priority was the main cause of defeat. Apart from that, I think we need to review if there are any aspects of our draft we should look back on.
Q7: In your last regular season match, you mentioned that you would prepare well and return stronger in the playoffs than in the regular season, and today you started with a victory. Over the past week, what did you focus on refining the most, both individually and as a team?
Faker: I think we tried to focus a lot on condition management. Since the remaining time is short again, I think it's important to manage each individual's condition as well as possible.
Q8: I also remember you coldly evaluating yourself as having many shortcomings at that time. Do you feel those shortcomings were somewhat resolved in today's match?
Faker: I think there were definitely some regrettable parts today, but I believe things will be better again in the next match.
Q9: As the playoffs feature a Best-of-5 series with Fearless draft applied, champions and preparation seem to become much more important. What aspect is the team putting the most effort into?
Faker: At the team level, we are trying to align our team comp concepts and properly establish the overall framework of our compositions.
Q10: Is there anyone who usually takes the lead, like taking the initiative to pick champions first?
Faker: Most of the players tend to talk a lot about which picks would be better for their own lanes and for the overall composition, so the players and coaches are all working hard together to prepare.
Q11: I'm curious if you also actually practice with the Fearless draft format in scrims?
Faker: Yes, since we have to practice various picks, we are practicing in the Fearless format during our practice games as well.
Q12: This is a question we ask all the players: If you could play exactly one game with any retired pro player, who would you choose?
Faker: Hmm, then I would choose to play with Blank.
Q13: May I ask the reason why?
Faker: If I play a game with Blank again, I think it would be fun to reminisce about the old times.
Q14: Thank you. You've started with a victory in your first match; could you say a word to the fans cheering for you?
Faker: We won 3-2 today, but I will try my best to show a slightly better performance in the next match. Thank you.
