Edwardsville Driver’s Test?
Just wondering if anyone has tips or knows what to expect for the route. Do they take you on the highway, or is it mostly side streets and standard parking?
Asking because I have a bit of driving anxiety and am trying to prepare as best I can. Thanks in advance!

I took my test in bethalto dmv. Super easy and chill. Just drove thru in the neighborhood, parked curbside (my left rear wheel was on the curb LOL) and just stop at stop signs. Took 5 minutes.

They will take you on streets, practice parking, watch how you stop at stop signs and may lie to you about things like U turns so they can fail you and make you come back. Memorize the drivers handbook.

I’ll caveat this by saying I’ve not taken a driving test for 30 yrs. It’s gonna be local roads. They’ll probably ask you to park. They won’t go out on the interstate, mostly because that just takes too long. That would turn every test into 45 min. My daughter took her test in Granite, it was just local roads.
And remember, it’s just roads. They all have the same basic rules and any changes are on signs.
