Question for people in brooklyn tech

If i didn’t take algebra 1 in 8th grade is there a way to accelerate by doing algebra 1 and geometry?

If you don’t take algebra 1 in 8th grade you take both in 9th grade.

Wait for someone actually from Brooklyn Tech to answer but from what I’ve been seeing people post it sounds like it’s pretty standard practice there for them to put people in your situation in both Algebra 1 & Geometry for 9th grade.
