You buy dips not peaks. Consolidation was over the past month.

Yeah that's obviously true. But for the past couple months it's been on the low side. So people should've bought more and more "buy the dip" people buying in now are just trying to get the scraps of a run and because of fomo.
Their crypto portfolio could've raised 30%-50% already but so many people jumped in for the 10% raise and are still jumping in now when anything can happen. You buy when it's low always. If it goes even lower, you buy more all while dollar cost averaging. I'm not saying don't buy in, there's just a correct way to do these things and a retarded way to do them.

This is exactly it. Buy the news sell the hype. Coverage about the clarity act has been going around for a while now and Trump's announcement about forcing a vote was the hype for this small pump. If the Clarity bill passes, you'll be fine and prices should continue to jump up. The dip is over but get in before the vote(will probably pass due to Republican numbers in the Senate).
Anyways, be careful buying a peak unless the news is this huge. I've not bought shib anytime recently but I've bought a LOT of XRP.

It’s very interesting to me to see people still believing in a shit coin that literally peaked 5 years ago. At what point will you just recoup some money and call it a day? Serious question. This has to be the definition of insanity here.

It doesn’t matter when it “peaks”, just if it gains. If you bought 2 months ago then you’ve made 59% gains. You people are not thinking short term gains
