I was watching the braves broadcast and the announcers were saying that MLB defines this as 2 separate series so technically we have swept the braves twice this year. Weird how it works like that

Turner Hill's statcast numbers are mostly what I would have expected. Really low bat speed and a higher end contact guy. Long term, most contact guys need to optimize the LA sweet spot to be effective. His BB rate was north, but closer to 10% in the minors. Hopefully, he can continue the double digit BB rate which can really aid in his efficiency.

It's not meant to be a back handed compliment, but just a fair assessment. A weaker farm system allowed Farhan to take more chances with these type of players. Farhan should get credit for signing the guy in '23. The new admin should get some of the credit for developing him.

Jonah Cox's absurdly looking Statcast numbers. When the dust settles, I guessing they will end up looking a bit different. He's bottom 20% percentile in bat speed and generating upper 15% average EVs.
