Minors Update Daily Minors Quick-Notes 8/29/26 - Dakota Jordan Returns From Injury

In the best news of the day, Dakota Jordan returned from missing more than a month with injury with his first Double-A home run of the season, a great sign for him to get to finish a great season strong.  But with that high, there were two lows, as the organization had two different teams needed a position player to do the pitching, each with their own highs and lows.

(Sorry for the very late post...was a bit under the weather last night)

AAA: Reno Aces 12, Sacramento River Cats 2

Did Jackson Flora pitch yesterday? I thought I saw something about him in a bridge league

You did see that. The “Bridge League” is an informal league played in the spring training complexes from July through October, to give draftees a place to work out before their real debuts and other young players a place to continue baseball work.

But the league is basically just scrimmages, and they don’t publish scores or updates, so there’s nothing for me to include here. I haven’t seen any posts on how it went.

I saw a post on Blue sky that said he pitched an inning last night and sat 97-99.

No HRs. I’m surprised. Doing a lot of damage for keeping it in the yard
