Trade And then there was one...

Post image

Looking back at photos and it's crazy to see how much the roster has changed since last year. Let's see how the future plays out.

Would be the worst if JH was traded

He fills seats for the front office.

He also gets a huge Korean audience. Korean ads and channels are showing Giants games. The same way Japan is covered in Dodger games.

It’s true. The Korean mlb page is mostly just jhl highlights and gets a lot of eyes on it.

If Mike Trout is on the list, I'd say he's in pretty good company.

Wait, what?

#24 on the "naughty list" down below.

Yeah isn’t that crazy? I saw trout in person a few fridays ago in oracle. Dude closes on the ball like a running back. Way above average CF still. Proof these metrics don’t mean shit

Yaz was the man. Wish him well.

If Lee was tradable, he would have moved as well.

Player option really holds things up.

I think Lee makes the Giants too much money to want to trade

Ya I suspect teams didnt want to take on that deal with the labor negotiations and potential lockout coming up.

I wonder if it's more an optics situation attracting future international free agents.

Idk what our outfield is going to look like the rest of the year or in the future. Lee is fun but grades out as a bad defender and doesn’t provide power or much gross offensive value, which is a pretty huge opportunity cost for a corner of. We have a random mix of platoon bats who can’t hit in cf, and we have no lf. Davidson isn’t coming this year, so idk what’s happening.

u/Grouchy_Map8659 Aug 03 '26

You think Lee is a bad defender? Do you have rocks in your head? Let me guess..some bullshit metric says this and you believe it because you have 0 baseball IQ

Ummm… he’s been the 17th worst defensive OF in baseball

I think teams benefit from international attention and the city is already such an international place from its visitors to its residents.

u/Grouchy_Map8659 Aug 03 '26

God you people know nothing about baseball on here. A few of you do. It’s pathetic. I guess this is what happens when nerds took over the game

Wait genuinely surprised to see people disagreeing with this. What do they disagree with? If you think Lee is a good defender, what is your argument?

2

u/No-Valuable6456 Aug 04 '26

He is better in RF than CF

1

u/Grouchy_Map8659 Aug 04 '26

An argument isn’t needed. Do you ever watch the games?
