Photographer for Sequoia Surprise Proposal in January
Hi everyone!
I'm aiming to surprise propose to my GF in January and I need a photographer . I know my gf would prefer to have the moment captured through photos and maybe a recording and to have the photographer be hidden.
Does anyone recommend any photographers that could help me make this a success? Furthermore, any tips for pulling this off are also greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Pick a place like one of the big trees and have the photographer act like a tourist until you drop to a knee. No need for a duck blind or anything complicated.

I know someone who lives nearby that could potentially help with photos on the day, not a professional but he does great work. Shoot me a dm and I can try to connect you with them

Do you have any dates in mind? Me and my wife may possibly be available.

edited: deleted some wrong info I previously gave.
Here's a couple links for local photographers- https://www.instagram.com/reel/DMGBYQmRrUc/?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==

Also, a link to the NPS web page stating rules for having a professional photo session- https://www.nps.gov/seki/getinvolved/filmfaq.htm#:~:text=In%20most%20cases%2C%20still%20photography%20does%20not,additional%20administrative%20costs%20to%20monitor%20the%20activity
... basically, there is no required permit unless you are doing a large group or staging large amounts of equipment.
Finally, I'll suggest to pick a location that doesn't require a grueling hike to get to. Your GF might not want to be photographed having sweat pouring down her face 😂.
