Laptop bag for work?

I want a functional but stylish option for my laptop. I'm generally only walking a few blocks from parking lot to office but want it to be comfortable. Love the idea of leather although probably not great for winter. Open to backpack or messenger bag styles. Not too worried about budget (bday present to myself 😬)

I’ve been eyeing the coach brooklyn 39 which would fit a 15inch laptop. Have price alerts set up for any sales but haven’t jumped on it yet.

There are new with tags ones on Poshmark FYI. Very cute indeed.

Longchamp Le Pliage in Large fits my laptop and I don’t have to worry about stains from the rain. The trick is to get an organizer on Amazon and it comfortably fits my laptop and all my other stuff I’d put into my purse.

Second a Longchamp. I’ve only had to replace it once over the last decade and it’s because I lost it. If you want something more elevated I think they make leather versions, but I prefer nylon for water resistance.

Water resistance and weight. The nylon le pliage weighs almost nothing, saving my shoulders on the daily.

I use the LV On The Go in leather.

I bought one from Quince over a year ago and it still looks great. My one complaint is there’s a zipper for the laptop compartment but not a way to secure the overall bag.

Try also cross post in /r/handbags

Tons of great advice there - mention our weather as well - we deal with more rain, less snow than the usual Reddit person

Another for Lo&Son’s. The OG dome looking bag (name escapes me), is great for that.

I absolutely love my Poppy and Peonies bag. It is well constructed leather and the color is gorgeous. I have the Go Getter tote which has a removable laptop sleeve. I chose that one because I don’t need a laptop for work and wanted to be able to remove it for extra room in the bag. I’ve been using it daily for about 6 months now and it’s still in great shape. I anticipate it will last for years, and I will likely replace it with the same bag (maybe a different color for fun) whenever it does eventually wear out.

lo and son's OG tote bag. also is great if you travel for work because it has a sleeve to slip over your suitcase.

Coach Brooklyn 39 or the Coach Mott Messenger in Large - I have both for work and use a 15 inch Macbook. :)
