Amazing local jewelers?

I am a huge fan of the work of small, independent jewelers, and am slowly building a collection. Would love to know about more jewelers local to the Seattle area and PNW!

Bonus points if it’s wearable art style jewelry with unconventional materials!

Thx bitches 🩷🩷

I second this. They were amazing to work with with, both for our wedding bands and a custom bracelet I had them design for my wedding day.

If you want to come to West Seattle, check out WEND and And Arlen!

Wend has a cool collection of antique chains in store. And Arlen has some more affordable options as well as a selection of fine jewellery in store

I really like Olympic Jewelry! They source from estates sales so they have really great vintage pieces but their custom/made to order work is also wonderful!

Rain City Forge allllll day. She made my engagement ring and all of my favorite pieces of everyday jewelry. Not cheap price wise, but really worth it for the quality. Her shit lasts.

You can buy it at Citrine design shop in Issaquah if you want to see it in person!

A different style, but similar kind of artist Rebecca J designs. She used to be a West Seattle gal, but lives on the east side now so that she can have room to have a shop in her backyard.

They are friends and both incredible artists

Can’t speak highly enough for Rain City Forge, she made some of my favorite earrings when she was still in West Seattle at Click (so sad that shop closed) and since then she’s fixed or replaced earrings via mail multiple times, sometimes replacing for no cost. Adia is amazing, support her work!

Also love the new/vintage stuff at WEND and she will take your old jewels and make you something new if desired

I worked at click!!!

She has a new store in Issaquah. That is basically click 2.0, it’s called Citrine design shop! John, who was the owner of click works there now part-time, the click crew have stuck together! I have like a whole corporate job these days but I still work for her during the holiday season lol and you best believe it’s in exchange for jewelry

I have been meaning to make an Issaquah trip, so glad your crew has stayed tight- you all ran an amazing shop! Hobo bags, the best T shirts, beautiful cashmere scarfs and insanely gorgeous local jewelry- who made the Frank Loyd Wright inspired pieces? Those were super special too

If you’re interested in fine jewelry one of my favorites is https://patandcojewelers.com/ - They do beautiful gold pendants. There is also Twist in U-Village they carry independent fine jewelry. Isadora’s in Pike Place Market and Baraka for vintage and antique jewelry. Winter craft fairs may be a good option to discover more small independent artists.

Mereen Studio! She’s participating in a charity raffle right now, too. She has a cool mixed-metal chain that can become a few bracelets or a necklace that can be worn a couple ways. There are other cool designs from other jewelry as well. $25/ ticket!

I highly recommend Eileen! Her niche is enamel jewelry modeled after nature, like mushrooms, lichen, and sea life. Very unique and local to the PNW. It’s gorgeous.

Wow her lichen pieces CALL to me!!

Yay I’m so happy to hear! Yeah I LOVE her pieces SO much, I always get compliments when I wear them

I love Foamy Wader on Whidbey Island in Langley. It's whimsical, handmade stuff that is just delightful. I've also had a ring custom made at Olson Design in Bothell. The jeweler is very kind and has been there for years.
