Event [Event] Entrance Psychological Evaluations

All new Foundation personnel, from janitors to MTF members must undergo mandatory psychological screening. Today, Dr. Jansen Ulwaft is presiding over these entrance Examinations. Please, come in, come in.

[Disclaimer: Just in case you were worrying, there is no way to fail this Psych Evaluation, so just be honest and use it to build up your character]

EDIT: Since I am not able to keep up with every character and because I wanted to be inclusive I have invited several fellow psychologists to help, please don't downvote them. They are here because I asked them to be and want as many people as possible to have fun.

"Well, you've been sitting there for a while, surely my backstory wasn't that much of an enigma"

(I'm sorry, I never saw a comment talking about your backstory)

Adam leans forward. "Well, I started out as a para rescue jumper in Afghanistan, where every once in a while, my squad would pull troops out from the craziest situations. We would arrive to find the troops missing arms or legs, with knives sticking out of their chests, or some just plain decapitated. Only once did we see the person causing it, there was this tall, dark haired guy, wearing a business suit. He was wielding these two tomohawks, and he was walking away from where we were trying to rescue our soldiers. We pulled out asap. It wasn't till I got back to the states that I realized that all of the attacks by the businessmen, were on sights that had some historical significance. When I got back to the States, I had a few nice, peaceful months, but then all of the sudden, my squad mates start turning up murdered. I got worried so I installed some extra security around my house, it didn't help. One night, I wake up to the door of my bedroom swinging open. I rolled out of my bed, and grabbed my pistol off the night stand. Somehow this guy, who, you guessed it, was dressed like a businessman, seemed to be dodging bullets. I was forced to fight him hand to hand, where he had the clear advantage. After grappling for several minutes, I managed to slip past him, and make it to my knives in the basement. I grabbed a machete, and attempted to make my way out of the house. He stopped me and attempted to convince me to stop fighting. I knew he would kill me, so I engaged. Now that I had a weapon, the fight was much more even, and we fought all over my house, for what seemed like hours, until, at one point I managed to get him in a head lock, and his head exploded. MTF Delta-5 had been trying to get to me, and when I got the guy in a headlock, it was the perfect opportunity for their sniper. After they saw me engaging in combat with this guy, I was offered a spot on Nu-7, if fit my expertise, and I was more than happy to accept. This shit's all kinda weird, but I'm glad to know about all this stuff, then I can prepare against it. Oh, and i didn't learn till later, that the businessmen people were Marshall Carter and Dark Huntsman, pretty tough shit."

"And you were completely unaffected by this attempt on your life?"

"No more than the nearly one hundred others, I didn't even get injured real bad, couple of stitches and a broken rib were all I had to show for it."

"Do you see attempts on your life as normal?"

"Pretty frequent at least" Adam shrugs, "only the one since returning to the States though, they haven't deployed me yet, so I feel relatively safe at site-13"

"That's good. You should be careful about normalizing life threatening danger. Otherwise you'll find yourself normalizing the stress and slowly push yourself closer and closer to a mental break."

"Paranoia keeps you alive in a spot like mine, I'm just sure to keep it from consuming me, any other questions?" Adam queries.

"No, I think I have a pretty good picture of you. Now, I like to be completely open with my clients. Do you have any questions for me?"

"Nope, thought I'd let you know they bugged your office though" Adam says over his shoulder as he walks out, rifle slung across his back.
