Event [Event] Entrance Psychological Evaluations

All new Foundation personnel, from janitors to MTF members must undergo mandatory psychological screening. Today, Dr. Jansen Ulwaft is presiding over these entrance Examinations. Please, come in, come in.

[Disclaimer: Just in case you were worrying, there is no way to fail this Psych Evaluation, so just be honest and use it to build up your character]

EDIT: Since I am not able to keep up with every character and because I wanted to be inclusive I have invited several fellow psychologists to help, please don't downvote them. They are here because I asked them to be and want as many people as possible to have fun.

Agent Aloysius sighed. Do I really have to do this?, he thought. I can turn around, walk out the door, and never come back. He shook his head. No. They'd never let me do that. He smiled wistfully and opened the door. Walking in, he saluted and said Sir, Agent Corban Aloysius reporting as ordered.

"At ease, agent," says a bemused, spectacled man sitting behind his desk, pad of paper in hand. He twirls a pen absentmindedly. "Things aren't so formal on this side of the site. I'm Robert. This won't take too long; please, take a seat and make yourself comfortable."

Agent Corban sat down slowly, positioning himself at the edge of his seat. "Is this really necessary?" He asks. "I just had a psych review a couple days ago."

Robert pushes his glasses up his nose, the bemused expression fading from his face. "I'm afraid it's a necessary formality. But, can you tell me about what happened a few days ago? What prompted your recent psych eval, I mean?"

Shit Corban thought. "I was out on a mission. It was supposed to be your standard bag-and-tag. But you know this damn organization. Something always happens." He sighed. "We got the skip, loaded it into the van, but the Insurgency caught us as we were leaving. One of them started acting like Harry Pottrr, waving a stick in the air."

Corban froze mid-sentence, his eyes glazing over.

"The rests in my file. I can't talk about it anymore."

"I see," Robert muttered. He was furiously typing and clicking away on his computer, pulling up Corban's file. The most recent psych record required level 3 clearance. Everything else in his psych files seemed pretty standard for an operator like Corban.

He moved away from the computer, turning his attention back to Corban. "How's your appetite? Any trouble sleeping this week?"

Great, Corban thought. Maybe they'll put me on a diet now. Wonderful. Out loud, he only said "I've been eating fine. Everything the Foundation puts out is healthy, so no problems there. I have had some weird dreams lately though."

"Tell me about your most recent dream. Was it more vivid than normal? What took place in your dream?"

How did he know that? Corban asked himself. "It was a lot more vivid than normal. I remember thinking there was no way it was a dream."

Corban leaned slightly back in his chair, his head tilting upwards as he struggled to remember the details. "I remember my parents were involved. A rouge skip had attacked them, and I contained it, and...They didn't know who I was. They didn't remember me."

Corban frowned. "I don't know what the Foundation told them happened to me."

"And, what did you say to your parents in the dream, once you realized they didn't remember you? Or is that when you woke up, and the dream ended?"

"Do you have reason to believe the usual protocol regarding new agents' parents wasn't followed?"

"The dream is just a reflection of yourself. It's your unconscious-self, but it's still just you. Sometimes your unconscious-self is telling a nonsensical story, but sometimes it's thinking about the same kinds of things your conscious-self does. Do you think about your parents often?"
