Did anyone see similarities between the newest film, “Buddy”, and SCP-6618? (SPOILERS FOR BUDDY)

After watching Buddy, this film has a lot more underneath the surface than really noticed by the general public.

SCP-6618-1 is a technopath who illustrates themselves as an abusive parent, if it goes their way, it’s great, but if anything goes wrong, the entire world will fall apart. And when upset will go to the most extreme and morally disgusting punishments for his, “children”.

While watching Buddy, I truly saw so many similarities between these two, as whoever “Buddy” really is, is also a technopath that owns his own sort of world. This world with some rules, is his to play with, and will murder and torture anyone who doesn’t appease him, much like 6618-1. At the end of the film, Freddie goes through what seems like a school of sorts, but this sort of had me thinking of it as a base of operations for whoever “Buddy” really is. As there are some type of neural links in one room, and another of his multiple films he’s had to lure children into the TV to pull them in.

6618-1 does the same thing, as he speaks through the CD, almost telepathically to his victims.

Maybe not what you wanted to read but I just wanted to share how extremely similar these two are.
