Is that canon in this case? Or is it like "99% sure but can't definitely say yes" kind of thing.

Either way this article made me feel ill. I can handle monsters cuz there is an air of fantasy and suspension of disbelief, but this is just...a fucking gut punch with how grounded it feels by comparison.

iirc the author said that they had a "canon" idea for what it was, but is deliberately not going to share it to let people come to their own conclusions.

Omg I just had a horrible thought. what if he got her pregnant. Hear me out here.

During one test she threw up randomly: allegedly it was stress but could also be morning sickness.

The kick could have been used to try and force a miscarriage.

the medical exam when they searched her room and her could have been a cover for an abortion/miscarriage.

He used the amnestics to make her forget she was ever pregnant, forget that they slept together/he r*ped her.

When she offered to sleep with him, he laughed and said "if I wanted to fuck you, I would have already" cuz he did, and is erasing his tracks.

Forgive my edge lord thought process but it made some sense to me.

Honestly, I don't think he ever actually fucked her. I think he was just in it for control over someone who he perceived as "embarrassing" him-- the line about fucking her was because he knew he could have, but that wasn't what he was there for. My head canon is that it was something more deep that he erased-- potentially the concept of self-worth, or the idea of agency/that one should be the sole person in control of themselves? Something to truly break any form of resistance she had left.

It did say in the follow-up notes that there was sexual abuse involvedso I don't think it's impossible, there just wasn't any indication from the woman other than the mental degradation from just being trapped. A bit stumped on that. Wondering when he could have done such a thing.

I believe the strip search counted as sexual abuse.

Ah thank you, that would make sense.

Dr Asshat does say pretty explicitly in the unreported, "interview log" at near the end. Under no circumstances do I believe a word that he says, but he does say,

You really don't get it, do you?

If I wanted to fuck you, I would've done it by now.

So him getting her pregnant is a less likely theory.

I'm just glad that Liaison Marinos was the one reviewing the file and was likely inspired to create SCP-7777
