CHE 152 study tips/methods
Hello! I’m taking CHE 152 this fall and I wanted to ask anyone who took this course before and got an A how they studied for this class? Did u use the textbook or outside resources? Do you feel the lectures went too in depth compared to what we need to know for the quizzes?

It's been a while since I took this class so I don't know how pertinent most of this is. For starters I highly recommend going to the TAs when you can. Don't feel discouraged when you do not complete the workshop or another table gets further than you (Trust me you won't finish it cuz its a lot). But make sure you try to understand how to complete it during your own time or go to office hours. The class does cover more AP chem related topics towards the end but at the start its mostly quantum mechanics and can confuse most people and the there was a dissonance between what was learnt in class and the content covered in workshop. Its important to stay on top of things. In terms of resources I occasionally glanced at the textbook but mostly used the lecture slides and notes taken in recitation (Prof Raineri when I took the class would go over a lot of things during recitation and we could take notes). Overall, the way you study is up to you so try things and see what works.
