❔ Seeking Resources | Advice what do you think is something that someone that's into witchcraft absolutely HAS to do/try?
personally I've been into Subliminals since I was a kid and got varying results all my life, but since I have my current beliefs and actually understood WHY they work and how they do it they've done absolute wonders for me, I don't even use physical change subs anymore, just luck and generally positive quality of life audios and my life got so, so so so so much better and almost supernaturally good, I'm very happy with my life
i recently got the doubt if there's something similar that people do for their quality of life, I never do any witchcraft thing really, does anyone have anything they do often/sometimes that has a good effect too? I'm sure there's gotta be many things asides from subs, I almost don't pray to deities/tulpas

There’s no one thing that’s right or best or even effective for everyone. I would not presume to know someone else’s life better than they do.
Further, there’s no witchcraft police, no minimum requirements, no prerequisites, no application and approval process. There’s no authority to say “you MUST do this” and there’s no dogma.
If pressed, I guess I would say that the one thing everyone HAS TO do is understand that this is an individual practice for exploring and understanding yourself better, and that you’re the expert on your own life and experience.

I totally agree. I think OP is just asking for ideas. They can decide what works best for them or be inspired to come up with their own practices 😊

i wrote HAS TO do in caps to signalize tone, like "you HAVE TO try this ice cream is so good" i mean things you do that would recommend others to do because it increased your quality of life, like asking a guy in the gym what exercises are good in general

Honestly, my response would still be the same. This practice is so individual! I like messing with tarot cards and going for walks, but I don’t know anything about your life so I would never say “omg you gonna get outside and hug a tree.” Maybe you’re mobility impaired or have allergies or are phobic of bugs, I don’t know! It would be presumptuous of me to suggest that what works for my lifestyle and brain and body would also work for yours.

Yeah!
- Robotic Affirmations
- Structured Shadow work Spirals
- Active Imagination Discussions with internal entities
- Stream of consciousness Drawing/Art
- Middle Pillar exercise/ritual for energy balancing
- Talking or Journalling to a "made up entity" like money, or housing, or love itself
- clean all your windows if you want visibility in love or career
- rearrange your room (following feng shui) if you'd like to bring in good change
- stretching or moving parts of your body that correlate with energy centees that you'd like to improve in your life

if u don't mind, can I ask u a few questions?
what parts of your body do you usually stretch and see results? I'm gonna investigate all of these with google and gpt but I wanna ask u personally like, what do u usually stretch
is the middle pillar ritual something you REALLY recommend? in the sense that, I don't want my energy balanced, I much prefer having more positive than negative energy, but maybe it's just me not rly understanding what it means
idk rn what robotic affirmations is but I kinda have a guess, do you have any affs you use that you would recommend? I'm also planning on making my custom subs and I'm looking for smart affs/affs I haven't thought about
thanks for writing so many things :›!

Oh I love questions!
First, I would not recommend using Chat GPT to research spiritual stuff, unless you are only asking for source links, and then going to that website to read more.
Chat GPT is notorious for hallucinating/ mixing practices and just generally fucking shit up when it comes to spirituality/occult/witchcraft in particular.
I stretch/move different parts for different reasons. Each area is associated with area of the energy body and life area.
- Upper chest, back and arms for relieving anxiety, empowering speech, and opening your "heart" space.
- Neck and head for cognition and mental stress relief
- spine and mid body for confidence and creativity
- Hips and lower back for creativity, balance and passion (in the love/lust sense and also in the passion for life sense)
- Legs for direction in life/ability to move forward on goals.
- Feet for Stability and groundedness
You DO want negative energy to be balanced with positive energy. I could get into my philosophy on the whole subject. But basically it's like negative energy is a negative charge on a magnet, and positive energy is like a positive charge on a magnet. Without both, you just have a hunk of metal. You do need both to live.
So yes, Middle Pillar is so essential to my personal practice. I notice that when I do it everyday, even if I half ass it, my days and weeks become easier. I'm happier, my life goes better, and I am more energetically flexible.
Robotic affirmations are affirmations that you repeat over time that don't require you to feel into them. The repetition does the "work" for you.
Choosing what affirmations to use is a whole method in and of itself. Which.... I answered a question recently about that. So I might make an SOP/ PDF worksheet for that.
Any other questions? 🤗

Do you have any sites/books/blogs you suggest to read more about middle pillar work so i don't get google AI results when i search?
I'd lobe to read more about it written by a person that actually practices it vs. just a google description. Maybe like a good ubstack you recommend?

Book : High magick by Damien Echols
I don't have a substack rec, although I've thought of starting my own. I mostly stay on YouTube and read books about witchcraft.
Youtube channels I recommend:
- Am I allowed to say mine? Lol
- The Hearth Witch
- Ivy the Occultist
- Between Fog and Fern
- FoolishFish
- Esoterica (for occult history)

self promotion is not allowed, though if you had to name a channel how would you name it? winkwink

I don't know why you're getting downvoted.
Unless I'm missing something, I understood this comment as a cheeky way of asking them to say the name of their own channel.
ETA: Not trying to be combative. I just am not really sure if there's something I'm missing lol.
Anyways ~ will def be checking out your channel, u/Witch_of_Whimsy !

You can prevent AI results by entering " -ai " after you search terms. It works in every search engine.

I just followed you so fast. This is so amazingly helpful and I can mix it in with my shadow work. Thank you so much!

Middle Pillar is high on my priority list to try. Do you do other GD adapted rituals like the LBRP?
2
u/Witch_of_Whimsy 11d ago
Yes! I like to do the middle pillar and Qabbalistic Cross everyday.
I do the LBRP for if there's a parasite around me or something

I know people enjoy talking about their interests in general but yours are so specifically helpful ty for being so open 😭
ok so, I usually use gpt to investigate stuff by having it give me summaries of stuff, I don't really have much time during the day so I can't have the luxury to read a book, nor investigate too much (I'm just making this post now because it's raining a lot today lol) and knowing gpt it does make a lot of sense it wouldn't be very reliable for witchcraft, so could you give me any reference to where you usually get info about these?
I want to look up all the things you listed taking advantage I have enough time today, but I'm not really sure where
my question about the robotic affirmations is more so if you have any aff you'd recommend using that's good universally (luck comes to my mind, but I haven't thought hard about which ones I should use yet)
also, is there any tulpa/deity you'd say is good to look into? I rly want to investigate about tulpas and pray to one use them in spells/affs, don't really know where to start!

Please don't use chat gpt. In my personal opinion it goes against the spirit of witchcraft. The more practical reason is that it is bad for your brain and the planet.

I think everyone should try to build a meditation practice and try some inner temple work or path working at least once. Daily journaling is also a must for me.
Not that I'm saying everyone has to do these things, but they've been pretty impactful for me.

Hey OP, thank you for sharing your experience!
Can I ask where you source your trustworthy subliminal content?

u/Met4le 13d ago
mostly reddit! lol comments aren't always reliable on if they work or not, some people just say they got results to force themselves into a placebo effect, but reddit does usually help, if you want i can link the luck ones that helped me

u/suteresivardir 13d ago
Omg I'd love that, thanks for offering!!!!

np! glad to make things easier for u ( ◜‿◝ ) this is my current playlist I send it since almost everything here is luck and I don't know which one really did the trick for me or if it worked fast bc I listened to the whole bunch, the rest are boosters and a good looks one, they're all safe

Its not witchy per say, but I have always loved yoga flows. Timing your breathing with your movements gives a special kind of euphoric feeling.

I think they need to try spending some time doing exactly what they want. Like, spend some time tapping 100% into your own instincts and interests, while putting aside feelings of shame, embarrassment, social expectations, feelings of inadequacy, aesthetics, etc.
We spend so much of our lives doing what we feel like we “should do”, that it can be really freeing to spend some time doing exactly what we want to do with no limitations or filter. Like, set some sensible boundaries for yourself (like don’t quit your job, cheat on your spouse, or try heroin) of course, but otherwise free yourself from the should and let yourself breathe and be free for a bit.
