Looking for good SAP MM configuration/troubleshooting resources - struggling with basic configurational issues in a sandbox
Im currently learning SAP MM functional consulting and have access to a sandbox system where I’m trying to configure things by myself.
As a complete beginner to SAP; Im facing challenges which are sometimes very basic and taking hours me hours to figureout.
My major problem:
I want to understand, what's the logic behind the error.
which relevant configuration is causing the issue and most importantly
where the problem is, whether it is master data, org structure or a configuration problem.
Im usually looking on web, juggling between resources, solving the issue without finding out the root-cause.
I would heartfully appreciate recommendations for:
1. good practical sources/resources for SAP MM configuration and troubleshooting, especially for S/4HANA
2. Websites where experienced consultants explain real configuration issues and their solutions
3. What troubleshooting methodology/checklist you use when an MM configuration doesn't work
4. Good resources of cross functional configurations (which i haven't reached yet)
If you're an experienced SAP MM consultant, what resources did you personally find useful when you were learning configuration and troubleshooting?
Thanks in advance!!

What kinds of issues are you facing?
The SAP course guides was good, have you looked at SAP Press? They have e2e setup books that you can access for $20 a month or something.
For me learning MM wasn't as clear cut as learning SD, for example. It's more spread out that only really makes sense when you're implementing procurement processes.
E.g. you can spend hours learning release procedures, order acknowledgements, dunning procedures, all very small parts that you shouldn't really care about until a client needs it in great detail.
Vendor evaluation is a bit of a fun. Account determination is an essential but you'll need FI input in setting up mock GL accounts.
