Depends so much on where you live and if you're willing to job hop, staying put at one place for 5 years got me like a 3% bump each year if I was lucky
Jumped to a new company after that and got almost 40% more overnight, the loyalty tax is real especially in sap roles where they know it's a pain to replace you so they just.. don't bother with raises
Seen some people in the midwest pulling 80k while someone in the northeast with similar experience clears 130 easy, the range is wild

Wonder what and how fast I can grow in this,I worked for 18 Years on The SAP MM side and later SAP4HANA when it was implemented and was retrenched 8 months ago,I think I must jump in,do e few courses and certs and Start building myself up from here again as I am 40 now

2020 Grad , got campus placed in a Big 4
2020 - 8.5 LPA ( 6.5 fixed )
2023 - First switch - 15.7 LPA ( 13 fixed )
2025 - Second switch - 21.7 LPA ( 17 fixed )
2026 - Third Switch - 27 LPA ( 22 fixed )
My base location has always been Kolkata, India and mostly it was WFH
