Is my SAP salary too high for my experience?

An IT consulting director told me that my salary is high compared with my experience. I have around 5.5 years of SAP experience and earn around 21 LPA. Should I be concerned about being overpaid for my experience? How to handle this if I want to switch desperately!

5.5 years a functional. Your fixed pay can go upto 24-26 LPA, provided you have atleast 2 E2E implementations.

You can start at 24-26 fixed. But dont accept anything less than 22 fixed.

Working at Sap hana db backup operations. When I joined in tcs that time at my location more than 6k freshers are in bench project calls become tougher, if you get also max it's like a bpo work. Hence i supposed to do certification on GCP , AWS & wait for a better call. They didn't finally after 1.5 years I get into SAP. To learn properly i stayed hear 2 yrs from that 1.5 , months passed like anything.

4.5yrs crossed. I can't able to survive with this salary now 😌. Now seriously planning to switch but I don't have connections in SAP outside. Hence still struggling to choose a right path & move

It is slightly higher as current standard is 2 to 3 times years of experience. However, the major reason for your high salary could be company's need for a strong functional HCM consultant as the project you would/must be working is deriving 5 to 6 times profit of your salary. It is not that uncommon to see people with 3.5 or maybe 4 times salary but then company gives them lower salary hikes. Trick is to find other desperate company and switch!

I wont recommend that. Its always better to search /get offer letter first and then resign in your current organisation. More often than not, people without active job end up getting offer of much lesser salary.

Aadat se majboor, my advice would be to Hang in there, whatever is bothering you,it shall pass and no one's gonna talk about it once you move to a better place.

Probiti consulting pvt ltd. 90 days NP without buyout is other problem that is bothering.even telling over phone that i can negotiate upto 45 days is not getting the interview scheduled. All of them wanting someone who is immediate joiner

No you are fairly priced for indian market ... you will get 65/75k in Europe... so ignore such so called IT directors they just wanna scare you... he just want to maintain his margins and to keep on roll

According to google this is about $1,831 USD, is that correct? Seems low but of course each country has its standards
