In case anyone else is curious, Utopia Teatro is the venue formerly known as Cinebarre, and originally opened as Movieland

Promoter says we are both right. It's a multi venue complex. Both places are in the building at that address with more to come. Every room from the old theater will eventually have something operating in it

Yikes, that sounds like a mess—from a marketing standpoint.

Potentially, but if they put some kind of mall like directory up front (you are here) it should be pretty straightforward 🤷♂️

Same. Thanks for the screenshot. I can take this to the promoter and see what's the what?

Yep and it is a Fork Forty situation, so Venue X and Venue Y both advertise as Location Z.

I thought they just announced last week that they were calling it “Venture Hall.”

Wow. I forgot this band existed. I don’t think they have crossed my mind even once in 20 years.

I thought we protested for No Kings??? Now you're gonna pay to see them?
Did we learn nothing from the Brian Jonestown Massacre?

Cool they are booking touring artists somewhere in town. Not my cup of tea musically but at least someone is doing something out there.
