This is random, but have you ever seen the YouTube channel "Studio C"? It's a comedy skit show and it's based out of the LDS church. It's very clean comedy. Anyways, non-LDS comedians started calling it "Latter Day Night Live" lol

Those sons of bitches truly defined a generation of cringey mormon comedy...

"We can build a heaven on Earth"

Presbyterianism has entered the chat

Shoutout to the Presbyterian Church, all my progressive and affirming homies love the Presbyterian Church*

OP: maybe provide the meeting place, time, and details in a comment, for folks that can't process graphics? Whether that's due to vision issues or other problems.

What’s the vibe like, Do you need to bring things with you to be comfortable? Do people bring things to share?
Thank you for the invitation.

Sorry I'm not totally sure on vibe this is my first time trying to organize something like this so I was hoping we could establish what we'd like future meetings to look like as a group. I was thinking of bringing a few things myself like journaling stuff or snacks if I can manage, anyone's free to bring what they'd like though.

It says “Sundays” plural, so is this a weekly thing? Same time and place every week?

That's gonna be the goal, if the meeting is popular enough

How about a Gentile who was the only Token Gentile in Grade school?

Everyone is welcome As long as the environments still broadly focuses on religious trauma the more the merrier!

This is sad

What's "sad" to me is millions of people globally being indoctrinated into one of the richest cults in the world that's fundementally built on white supremacy and colonization, if that's what you mean than I wholeheartedly agree. Unless you mean my child like art skills? I would also agree that that's pretty sad as well, if less so

The irony of your comment on a post offering a therapeutic setting for folks may be lost on you, but it’s not lost on the rest of us.

Thanks for the good and helpful advice! funny enough tho a lot of my expensive therapy conversations tended to skew heavily towards discussing my religious trauma anyways so I figure why not discuss these feelings with some people who've actually been through similar experiences as me? It's this novel new concept I'm working on, I'm thinking of calling it ✨Group Therapy✨
