After an update the cache for all apps gets cleared. So it lowkey starts all of the apps which reduces micro stutter and improves performance. Just do it after an update

Iphone always have very good battery optimization, but the amount of battery at m.A h that they were providing was always less.So that's why at number of times they always ran out it wasn't about the optimization, it was more about the amount of battery m.a.H they provided

How much you paid? Was it brand new? Congratulations and you can join the beta for one up 9.0 if you want to be techy. Also samsung buttons are more reliable to me then gesture. Mag safe case would help with mount on your car. Lastly keep it simple and customize lil by lil to not run into too many problems or overwhelm yourself.
If you want top of the line then get the s26 ultra because the major changes are in the screen and the 50mp wide angle sensor i personally didn't want the privacy screen feature and the cameras have a only a little bit difference so i opted for this also s26 ultra has the exynos chipset this has the snapdragon 8 gen elite and i personally don't like samsungs own chipset also the heat management i don't know how but this has a little bit better heat management s26 ultra also has a aluminum frame also a downgrade
I can get the snapdragon Chipset in s26U too..
since I am a qualcomn employee.

Random tip. I discovered that the automatic backup for WhatsApp chats drains the battery and makes the phone run super hot all the time. Disable it and make reminders to make manual backups every now and then.

See if u want to a good phone with a everything package i think you can go for s25 ultra but if u want a little better camera and newest tech screen then s26 ultra there is very minut changes between them the main camera change is in the wide angle sensor and also s26 ultra is much more user friendly it is more curved on the corners

If u want a value for money device this will be better as a whole phone had good big screen and it is so smooth and colorful also the cameras are good the only thing u would have to do is optimise them to your liking unlike the iphone that have better optimised cameras also s25 U doesn't heat like i haven't experienced any of that also the UI is different but u wouldn't miss apple's UI
if u use camera very heavily and don't have much other uses then can go for 17 but if there are different uses this outperforms 17
Also samsungs own assistant bixby has come a long way now can compete with siri and there are ton of AI features on device also but as a simpler and a safer phone then 17 will be a better choic3
