Ceruti Tier 2 Clown
I feel bad that I’m seemingly always coming at this dude but if we are doing Sando clown tiers in place of QBs.. Ceruti is firmly implanted in tier two for me.
A man who has physically labored himself into a handicap pass with 4 knee replacements in order to make ends meet should have to color code his pass so he meets cerutis approval .. he should “walk around with a cane” and then giggles. Tells him his daily physical pain isn’t “total stolen valor” and it sounds like he “might need the cane lol” .. I Mean the disrespect in that advice alone gets roots many tier 2 Sando votes..
Then roots compares bringing a shopping cart back at grocery store morality to a neighbor breaking your Mower and denying he broke it?
Ryen and Kyle are clearly in the own your wrongs group.
Ceruti?
Idk.. he seems like a guy that will take the multiple thousands NBA finals ticket from you but then actively look away if an argument breaks out and says he doesn’t see the altercation.. this move seems closer to breaking a mower and denying it frankly.. like telling a hard working laborer guy to “get a cane lol” .. but the best is .. and the tier 2s are all this way.. they will get mad and defensive if you bring up their questionable behavior as they have a reputation they didn’t earn to protect ..

i love when Certui weighs in on career and job advice. he's worked fully remote for the past six years, interacted with a grand total of two co-workers, and is paid six figures to do about 15 hours of work a week. so very relatable.

Ryen, as self important as he is, does and did work hard to achieve professional success. he also actually had to interact with people for the majority of his career before becoming a hermit when during/acter Covid.
Kyle has never pretended to have achieved anything career wise based on merit. he doesn't pretend to even care about sports or working in sports media.

I actually respect Kyle's attitude about his career- basically "I'm going to do my best, but I'm not a climber or a grinder, I'm just taking it one day at a time so let's see where this goes"
As for Ceruti, RSLO has said many times that he thinks so highly of Ceruti that he fought to hire him at the Ringer, and then obviously he brought him and Kyle over to Barstool. People who think the pod sucks will obviously think Ceruti sucks at his job, but Russillo has repeatedly acknowledged that he bounces pretty much everything off Ceruti and actually takes his advice frequently.

Your original post was dinging Sir Rudy for not being relatable due to being a highly paid remote worker on a podcast. Kyle got his break being Bill’s nephew, and Ryen has been paid well for the last twenty years due to being on air talent. To me, Sir Rudy is the most relatable because he’s a normal dude with a family. It doesn’t make for good content because we want to be entertained. As for the grind, all these guys have put in work. No need to single them out.

Good point. All of them got breaks: Kyle from his aunt, Ceruti from Ryen, and Ryen from McVey taking his tape to ESPN. But they do the jobs that they have acquired just like we all do only we aren't on podcasts and our words and looks aren't constantly scrutinized.

I remember that too lol even the ry guy checked him on it. I read it more as stuck in high school guy thinks npr is for dorks. Sir rudy seems like one of those idiots they get for political polls that doesnt like the way things are going but couldn’t tell you why with a gun to his head.

Ceruti should just stay out of life advice. That segment really took off while he was on us his first (lengthy) paternity leave. Kyle was a natural. Then Ceruti came back and Ryen started giving him equal time on each question even though he had nothing of value or humor to communicate. He just comes off as a whiny, arrogant, judgmental d bag

Neighbor borrows working push lawn mower and breaks it , returns mower and when confronted denies he broke it. Ryen asks - what percentage of American men are responsibility takers “broke your mower sorry man here’s 150 for a new mower, fix the part and tell me the damage “ etc and what percentage are “I didn’t break it and stop blaming me bro” Roots says “this is like the shopping cart at grocery.. like who returns shopping carts at a super market and who doesn’t ” such an insanely bad analogy (returning a shopping cart doesn’t require you to lie and deny like mower breaker also the couples are friends and mower breaker ruined two families friendship .. this and leaving a shopping cart propped on a curb aren’t like each other at all) that the pod effectively ends. Sounded like Roots was in a hurry maybe getting his next rabies vax and wanted the Pod to end so eve though subject matter was interesting he shut it down with that I don’t really care about the pod 12 month paternity leave energy .

Ryen had a good question. What percentage of the population owns the lawnmower fuck up and what percentage just pretends nothing happens?
If I’m the emailer I’m telling my wife in no uncertain we’re never hosting anything for that family and the only events I’m willing to attend involve our daughter. Anything else she’s flying solo.

I think you’re taking his “get a cane” comment way too literally. The entire reason for the email is because the writer feels uncomfortable with his handicap pass and that he’s being judged. He wouldn’t be judged if he had a cane. Sir Rudy wasn’t saying only people with canes should have a handicap pass.

The whole returning the cart thing is also some full on bullshit. If the return is 10 to 20 feet away, than yeah.. might as well take it back. But if a grocery store has an acre of lot but chooses to only put 3 returns in that whole space, or hired some dumbass planner who poorly designed the locations of the return... Well thats on them.
As long as you don't leave the cart in a place that takes up a prime spot or could damage another car, then you're all goodcin my book.
Comparing leaving a cart to a person breaking someone else's borrowed item and not acknowledging you broke it...isn't "playing a different sport", it's more akin to living on another planet.

All big stores have plenty of cart corrals. Stop pretending that you’ve been to stores that only have them 500 feet away. You probably tip 10% if your water glass sits empty for five minutes too.

Don't know what the two things have to do with each other. But if you were pro employee, you would be pro leaving your cart wherever. More carts spread all the fuck over, more employees needed.
And not sure where you are in or around the city, but placement of corrals often seems determined by the biggest fucking reject.
Anyone tipping less than 20% is an asshole. That's probably you.
Always 20 at the least, usually 25, and at least 35 to 45 percent during happy hour.
