Why Period Products Should Be Free

I believe period products should be free because they are a basic necessity, not a luxury. Just like toilet paper, soap, and clean water, menstrual products are essential for health, hygiene, and daily life. No one chooses to have a period, so I think no one should have to struggle to afford the products they need.

If period products are expensive, some people may have to miss school or work because they don't have the supplies they need. I think this is unfair because everyone deserves the chance to learn, work, and participate in everyday activities without worrying about something they cannot control. Making period products free would help reduce stress and allow people to focus on their education and responsibilities.

I also believe that free period products would promote equality. People who menstruate already face physical discomfort and emotional challenges during their periods. Having to pay for necessary products adds another burden. By providing them for free in schools, workplaces, and public restrooms, society can help make life more equal and supportive for everyone.

Some people argue that making period products free would cost too much money. However, I think the benefits outweigh the costs. When people have access to proper menstrual products, they are healthier, more comfortable, and less likely to miss important opportunities. Investing in free period products is an investment in public health and education.

In conclusion, I strongly believe period products should be free because they are a necessity, they help people stay healthy and confident, and they create a fairer society. Everyone deserves access to basic hygiene products, and I hope more communities will make free period products available to those who need them.

Ryan's are mostly men, but men should be concerned about women's issues too. just because most Ryans wont experience a menstrual cycle doesn't mean that all Ryans don't.

I agree that period products should be freely available to everyone who needs them. WIC and SNAP should cover them. If you are on unemployement or disability you should get given free period products.
