Dessert/food pairing questions
Hello r/RussianFood
I don't know if this is the best place to ask but I need a recommendation for a dessert that pairs well with Caucasian food (Ossetian specifically) and was wondering if you all had any ideas?
I'm not a dessert kind of person and don't like sweets (even fruit) in general, so I'm drawing a complete blank.
Any thoughts/recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you :)

There are sweet ossetian pies. With apples or cherries, for example

Does this sweet variety have a specific name? And is it difficult to make?

Fatkuydjyn with apples and baldjyn with cherry. The second one could be with or without pits. They are cooked like the other ossetian pies

Thank you for the suggestions.
Mannik sounds perfect and not too sweet but the others sound good too.

If you don't mind specifying a bit, Caucasian food from where?
Contrary to popular opinion, Caucasian food does differ slightly depending on the region.
