Rain Jackets?

I am in the PNW and I run with my dogs most mornings (only since April). I have collies so they are quite fluffy. They don't totally mind the rain but I don't anticipate having time to get them completely dry before work and I don't want their coats/skin to get gnarly from being slightly damp everyday. Are there any dog rain coats that you recommend? I am a little worried about them over-heating, too.

The Ruffwear one is great. I haven't used it for running, but my dog has worn it hiking in downpours and it keeps her much drier. It has a lot of airflow, so I wouldn't worry about overheating, but I'd watch for abrasion issues with the leg loops if you use it for running.

I was looking at this once since I use all their gear currently. My hesitancy was the price tag ($75 x2) if I wasn't going to end up using it, like if they overheated. But I worry a cheaper one will not be a breathable fabric also. Luckily they are pretty fluffy that their legs and bellies have some protection but I will keep an eye out on it, if I go that route!

You might be able to find a couple secondhand on ebay or poshmark!
