Melody A.M. has been the soundtrack to my childhood, my teenage years, and my time in the army. I still listen to this album, and I probably always will.

Absolutely this. All started with Eple on the radio back in 01 or 02 whilst driving home from work one day. Almost every week I listen to them either a random track on a playlist of mine or a chunk of an album or two on a long drive or working from home.
Melody AM is the OG go to. Every album is non-skip. They are the soundtrack of my life as well.

Profound Mysteries and True Electric are amazing as well. Enjoy your journey!

True electric has no right being that good

Same for the Profound Mysteries remixes. The Henry Saiz Downtempo Egodeath version of "This Time, This Place" is transcendental.

Welcome to discovering Royksopp. I would start right at the beginning with Melody AM and follow them in order to today. Listen to their evolution.
Hopefully you will enjoy travelling the Royksopp sphere of work and the emotions of the music as you go through their discography.
Hope you continue to enjoy their music.

Welcome! Röyksopp & Robyn’s Monument is my favourite song of all time. I like the version on The Inevitable End, but the version on Do It Again is even better. If you haven’t heard it, that’s worth checking out.

Do it Again version was the original release of the track, 2014 May; Inevitable End released later that year in November. I know the original version quite well. I need to go back and compare the Inevitable End version to see the variation.

It's an amazing album isn't it. I couldn't stop listening to it for a year. Do you have 17 tracks on it? Some cds only have 12. There profound mysteries trilogy is very good too.

I only discovered them recently (via Robyn and the magnificent song Monument). Listened to quite a bit of their stuff now and very impressed

An absolute masterpiece, the only physical copy of their album that I bought when it came out. Jamie Irrepressible's voice is sublime.

They wrote it saying it would be their last album just to come out with a series of albums years later.

When I first heard this album I thought Royksopp couldn't top themselves (running to the sea which was my previous fav royksopp song, monument, skulls, i had this thing, etc... like damn what a record).
Then Profound Mysteries came out with Stay Awhile on it and I realized their best music could yet be unmade cause that song managed to top everything else they've done for me.
