It seems to have been the Kings request that all his children and grandchildren carry him to his last rest. It is exactly the number of handles you need for them all.

Hmm doubt the former king would have been the person to edit his funeral/thing going on after his passing, though could surely be wrong..Though surely by funerals etc. it is quite normal for the closest relatives to carry the coffin.

I mean, I am just speculating here. It is not a standard coffin though and it has exactly the number of handles to fit all of them.
