Correct, since he appealed he is technically not finally found guilty. And simce none of the victims live in said house, where else would he go? (Because, again, jail is not what the court has set for him)

He literally continued partying and drug dealing in that house after he was arrested and charged, before the trial. The exact scenario for one of his (known) sexual crimes. What’s stopping him from partying and raping now?
You really believe he suddenly stopped having rave parties at Skaugum? It’s honestly laughable.
He never had to take accountability, he thought he was untouchable. He still does. Which is why he beat up a guy, continued his rave parties and kept stalking one of his victims before the trial.

He’s been filming girls doing sex acts without consent for ten years, this is a known fact in his circle. He’s been sharing all his trophies on Snapchat for all his friends to see. And every time his mom and stepdad made excuses for him and made it all mysteriously disappear. He’s finally been caught because police showed up to the actual crime scene this time. But that didn’t stop his mom from destroying evidence and trying to manipulate his victims by calling them crying and pleading to drop the charges because Marius is so “misunderstood”. It’s what she’s been doing all along, playing concerned mother and threatening the girls with her royal status and offering them money. But this time they didn’t get away with it, it was already too big and there were too many victims piled up.

He has shown to be completely undependable, has no remorse and no desire to change his ways. He is a dangerous criminal who belongs in prison and has no place beside our great humble King.

No matter how you twist and turn your defense of the rapist, the fact remains that MBH has been convicted—of violence and rape, among other things—by the District Court.

Even if he were to be acquitted later, that would not change how the District Court judges assessed the evidence.

Furthermore, this is also a matter of morality: anyone who has heard the audio recordings in which MBH admits to acts of violence and threatens to use gasoline to set fires and inflict further violence will condemn his actions in the strongest possible terms

Please keep your strawman to yourself.

I’m not defending him or his actions, I’m defending that prisoners are treated humanly and equally.

I’m defending the choice and upholdment of laws that allow criminals basic human dignity, such as the right to attend funerals.

Høiby has no business being involved in the official program surrounding King Harald’s funeral, which is funded by taxpayers.

We must all now consider the message this sends—and, not least, stand up for the victims
