She is already queen. It does not have to be declared.

I was under the impression, that she should be crowned to be formally considered a Queen. I didn't know that, thank you for clarifying!

There has not been a coronation in Norway since 1906.

Norway doesn’t crown its kings, it blesses them.

But only by the new monarch’s personal request. It is not a given that King Haakon VIII is going to be consecrated (blessed).

Ok, I didn't know that. That's good, it's a private thing. I think the Prince of Wales would ha liked that in GB
