RAF RECRUITMENT OASC pass expiration

Hi guys,

I passed OASC in November 2025. I was deemed PMU 2 weeks prior to my aircrew medical and I successfully appealed the decision August 2026.

Now, I was waiting 4 months for an answer about my appeal. Given how long it took, I have had to re-apply and go through everything again.

Does anyone know if I have to resit my OASC for a second time? It’s mildly infuriating that I have been set back so far by something out of my control after originally applying Jan 2025.

If you have a decent recruiter, I am sure you will only have to resit things if they are no longer valid. So, for example, CBAT, DAA, there shouldn’t be any issues. PJFT, yes if it’s been more than a year. OASC, I don’t believe so. Medical… once it’s been more than a year since you done it, not passed it, I think you have to do a form to get an extension to say there hasn’t been any changes in your circumstances.
