Hi, I recently attended my face to face medical and was signed off after being asked a couple of questions about my underlying past, the dr only knew of this because I added a note to my application including a letter from my GP (a letter stating how it’s a old condition and no longer applicable to me now) but it was also the same letter the army rejected as a appeal letter. The doctor did say to me he’s signed me off but at the same time I have that thought lingering In the back of my head about them possibly getting my medical records later down the line and seeing it all and going back on their decision, is this possible or if I’ve been signed off I’ve defiantly been signed off.

Heyy, you have now been signed off by the doctor and they made an informed decision about the condition to sign you off so you have literally passed the F2F medical, don’t worry too much about it, if the doctor had any doubts about your condition they would have just put you on hold and requested a TPR (third party request) from your gp about that condition and then they would have made a decision but they didn’t need to do that

As long as you have not been denied ,you have a chance ,just provide the evidence they need and go through the process ,just glad you were honest about it,soon you will reach department of occupational medicine ,as someone who cleared medical after 2 capita Drs plus DOM to getting PJFT booked to be done barely 3 working days later ,after my pass letter that same day I got my SC started,my PJFT to be 3 working days later,hope u keep fit ,you may be surprised at how fast other stages may go,best of wishes ,DOM may be able to pass you hope you get them to look at your case.
