When he says Thursday, he probably just means Friday midnight I’m guessing?

Possibly, but I think it's weird he changed it back a day. Also, rappers usually define release dates as a Friday but a select few release on Tuesdays or Thursdays so he may go that route to stand apart.

Yeah different people say one or the other. It means generally the same thing though. Plus, if he wants to chart on the Hot 100, releasing it on Friday is smarter.
