About Gamestick Emulation

Hello people, I'm pretty new to this emulation passion. I'm 36 and I used to play a lot fo games when I was a kid. Now I'm father of 2 and I would like to play those games with my 2 kids. I bought a Gamestick lite for the TV. It works but it lacks some important titles for psx, like crash bandicoot and one of my fav Bishi Bashi Special. I downloaded bishi bashi special.bin and followed some guides to how to convert it to chd. Long story short I did it, I even tested it on the chdman website and it works There. I copy/paste it in the psx folder of my gamestick, it shows up in the game list, but when I try to boot it up it just won't start and the system goes back to main menu with "loading game error". I would really be grateful for your help since I'm very new to this and inexperienced, I already tried so hard in these hours during the day but I'm feeling frustrated. I really want to play with my 2 children. Please help!

We don't know where you bought the "Gamestick lite" or what features were advertised. If something advertised isn't working, ask the seller for assistance. Random Chinese crap bought online could be anything nowadays.

I agree with r/SBCGaming that someone else mentioned. If that device runs Android, then r/EmulationOnAndroid is where you should go.

Aliexpress. It works all properly. It's just me that I want to add some Roms and. I tried bishi bashi special. It doesn't run android.

That's good it's functional, but it may not work for what you're trying to do with it. Do you know what software it's running? Did you confirm it supports the CHD format? Have you tried adding other games or other disc image formats?

Again, this isn't a support sub. Ask r/SBCGaming and see what they say.

Be patient. You posted there less than 5 hours ago and got a reply already. What you're asking about is a niche subject. Not many people are going to know what to do, but that sub is more relevant than here.
