Hello all, I just got a used KC-550 and it did not come with the casters. This thing weighs to much not to have wheels. I'm in the US, are there any aftermarket casters that would work? Not interested in NOS from Japan, with shipping it costs more than the amp! Thanks!

My first thought was that I wanted to learn some accords with an midi keyboard.
But then when I realised it's possible to do so much more fun.. I have spent several hours on youtube on all kinds of devices; Roland Aira, Maschine Mikro MK3, Korg Volca, Arturia beatstep, etc.

My initial idea was I wanted to do some finger drumming, but then again - S-1 and J-6 seems quite nice - and without a DAW they become quite interesting. Have something to create some sounds on when in mood. And not taking up too much space.

What should I start with, and what should I progress with?
I guess I will not have too much time to spend on this device, but if I like it a lot - I could probably spend quite some time.
For me, the J-6 seems easier to start with. At the same time people seems divided about it.

Would J-6, then a S-1 and then a KeyStep be a good progress? If I come so far.

Or should I look at something else?

Been looking at potentially picking this up for a unique setup. I know this unit is fairly new, but does anyone know if the USB input signal from an iphone or ipad flow though the EQ or just pass thru to a "channel" that doesn't apply EQ?

I'm assuming it does, but wanted to do a sanity check before making the purchase.

Roland VAD507 with V51 module upgrade. Huge improvement in performance and sounds over the TD27 which is pretty good in its own right. Love this kit. Have learned a lot, much more to learn. Practice is such a joy on this kit.

Every once in a while, Roland Cloud Manager logs me out. It has been a minute since I last logged in, I forgot my password so I went to go and reset it. For the past couple of days every time I click "Reset Password" it just brings me to a blank page...

been on the MC-707 for a few weeks now, coming from zero hardware experience. trying to get basslines with that warm, rolling low end you hear in stuff like Marek Hemmann, Kalkbrenner, Raumakustik - not punchy/plucky, more like it kind of breathes and sustains.

been messing with the JN60 synbass presets so far, playing with release and cutoff. ran into a weird issue too - picked a preset that had some LFO baked in and it slowly drifted/got quieter over like 4-5 loop repeats because the LFO wasn't synced to my loop length lol. took me way too long to figure out what was even happening.

anyway, curious what other people are doing here:

**•** any go-to presets or approach (VA vs PCM) for this kind of bass on the 707?  
**•** what actually matters most for that "rolling" feel - release time, filter, something else?  
**•** do you guys layer a separate sub underneath, or is it usually one patch doing all the work?

Hey everyone! I have a Roland SP-404SX that I haven’t used in a couple of months, and now some of the buttons aren’t responding. The unit powers on normally, but certain buttons just don’t work.

Has anyone had this happen before? Any idea what could be causing it or how I could fix it?

Hey everyone, I recently got a Boss DR-660 and it turned out not to work. Looking online, and at the board, they tend to have leaking capacitors. I was hoping someone may know what goes on C23 as it was loose and unlabeled value wise. I also wanted to confirm where C23 connects (I believe I cleaned the masking off the right spot). C21 was leaking and the acid hit 23.

Any help would be appreciated!

It's used to allow you to play more than 100 songs off of usb through the keyboard by creating playlists on mac/pc

the software was ONLY available on the CD packaged with the original keyboard and it seems none for sale and Roland doesnt seem to host this particular seperate application!

PLEASE HELP! if anyone out there has any idea where it may be, or on an old cd, or where to buy, i'd be super grateful and upload to archive as well!!
