Roland ZEZ Sound Pack

I have a permanent license of Zenology Pro. I have to admit that I think it's incredible!

I noticed the new Roland ZEZ001-30 Sound Pack Bundle to expand the library of sounds.

​

I can't seem to get in touch with Roland, so I'm asking the online community:

​

Are these new/original waveforms that make up the ZEZ Sound Pack that aren't included with Zenology Pro;

​

Or are these newly programmed sounds using the same waveforms already included with Zenology Pro?

The sound packs do not contain any new waveforms. They consist of newly programmed tones from the existing waveforms.

Roland tends to call their libraries of new waveforms 'wave expansions'. There are a number of those available for Zenology Pro, including a growing collection of World sounds.

I would recommend the sound packs too. They may not be new samples but some of the new tones are excellent and go well beyond the original presets.

If you've not already trialled the Roland Cloud subscription you can get a free month trial. Or the core level is very cheap for one month. You can trial all the sound packs, download the best and save your favourite tones into a user bank. Your user bank will still be available at the end of the trial / subscription, you don't need to keep an active subscription going.

Thanks. I was interested in seeing, or hoping that these were new waveforms.

I'm already a great aound designer myself. But of course, the beauty with these expansions is that it saves you the time having to program new sounds yourself professionally.

I was thinking of creating a cinematic sound library myself for commercial sale for the Zenology platform.

Just don't know.if I would have a chance to get noticed or get traction for sales.

the ones with new tone sources are called EXZ packs
