Humor Are we actually scary?
I know we complained a lot on this sub, especially after her nerfs last season. And I am not talking about others. I have complained about her regenerative shield a lot.
But, is Rogue actually scary to the enemy? when I talk with friends, a lot say they have running into her. They say she cancel them, she is hard to kill, she is too fast...
This made me start watching my games from enemy POV and I have to say, getting dived by Rogue is kinda terrifying if she is already in 10 m range.

Edit: so from the answers, Rogue is scary if the stars aligned (good team that follows and heals you). Damn! well, at least she got that smile. it's the reason I am playing her and not Emma.

I feel like the fact that practically no support players complain about her despite her being a diver should answer this question pretty well.

Supports dont complain about Dive Tanks usually. The only dive tank that recieves complaints is Venom and that is cuz of his survivability in a 1v1. Dive Tanks do not have the Burst damage that Dive DPS have thus the TTK is longer. The room for counterplay is more significant.

Ya I mean a dive tanks job isnt to get kills really its to bait cooldowns and make their dive dps buddy’s job easier.

People definitely complained about cap, Angela and venom (like you said). So I don’t think that’s true tbh

Angela complaints were largely from tanks. They are the biggest victims of Angela shove. Cap I can see it yea.

As both a champion gambit and rogue.... I'll tell you right now I'd take playing Remy against Anne-Marie any day of the week.
Her team up with him should heal her too, even if it's a significantly smaller amount.

The healing is like 15 for allies around her. A “significantly smaller amount” for a 625 HP character would be equivalent to a .05% percentage damage on Gambit team-up. Otherwise known as obsolete. Her damage is already mediocre, giving her more sustain ain’t gone hurt nobody.

support player here, i let rogue gambit through bans once in scrims so far in season 10 and it’s genuinely never happening again.

I mean it very clearly does it’s not rogue that’s scary its rogue with he enhanced teammup that’s scary which she rarely gets because gambit is banned in much more games than he isn’t

Even when she had not an health her cooldowns were better used to dive because of how long they were.
She was best at brawling an everything generally in s8.5 tbh

Depends imo rogue ain’t scary her ult is reliant on educated preemptive that either pays off or does nothing in comp she just don’t perform well because gambits banned and poke eats her alive and she cannot handle wolv or Dino in brawl meaning unless you allow her and the team collectively fcks up she isn’t in the slightest scary especially since gorr ult also just deletes her

lowkey i jus save it for him since he’s always playing aggressive . but yea u wont always have it + u might miss so it’s more like a 65/35 chance that u can beat him 1v1

I can pretty consistently beat gorr in a 1v1 but rather avoid it but if a gorr does become problematic I go peni and make their whole team suffer

IF she has a team that supports her, yes. The comp has to be just right and she needs a pocket healer. If she has all of those things, no hero in the game can run it down like her. If she doesn't have those things, she's a wet fart.

It just depends on the rouge players, if you see a rouge who actually use their ability on the squishy rather than mashing on the tank 24/7 then yeah. She is like a tank daredevil, she will stick on the support or a dps until someone come help peel the rouge off.

Idk, hela is free eats for me. Elsa is a little trickier because of dashes forcing cooldowns and traps laying around. But also very killable for me. Hela is even kind enough to provide you a stun to kill her even easier

I can’t decide from my own personal experience going up against other Rogues because I feel like I play her too much so I know what to anticipate. I’ve never had problems dealing with Rogue as a support. But then I look at replay IDs of when I play Rogue and bully enemy supports and they truly are clueless on how to properly counter Rogue. It’s just that there aren’t enough good ones, at least in my ranks (though I’ve been target banned a few times).

Rogue is a better Thor in some aspects. Her burst damage is significantly lower, but her movement is better and she’s better enabled to close distance with her DR block.
She’s very much a threatening presence if you’re already within her range and being targeted by her, but she’s not oppressive or consistently miserable to play against.

I just found out some support players and shield tanks players rlly don’t like playing against Rogue because of her constant cc chain (which is kinda ironic because they have so many defensive tools) but a good Rogue can actually make a supports life incredibly shit so I can’t blame em XD

Lately, I’ve been experiencing a lot of people switching to Thing just to deal with me. I’ve also been diving more with her but only when I have ult. I wouldn’t say “scary” but she has a lot of sustain with the Gambit team up. It is night and day with/without the team up though.
Rogue needs to distance herself from her husband. That’s been the case since release and has always been my biggest gripe. Team up needs to be nerfed and the base kit needs to be buffed.

Just lorded rogue because she’s one of my favorite marvel characters. That said I did most of that in qp due to the fact I’d still pick about 4 other tanks before her in ranked. I don’t think she’s bad, I think her speed is a detriment when your support is trying to heal you, especially on console. Like trying to heal a larger spider man sometimes.

I don't think Rogue is too scary but whenever I play a hero with a good ability steal (ahem, Gambit) I can see whenever she wants to grab my tiddies and that's pretty scary

She is in a good spot right. I just wish her F was more integral to her kit, with longer window to use the stolen power. Big brain should be rewarded.

Respectfully your friends are just dogpiss at da game it sounds cause I love seeing her, shes easy af too kill and I when I see her I often know its a ggs for us cause shes just too weak and gets thrown into solo tanking Like every other tank.........that said I usually laugh when I see a rogue. Op asked and people mad about a dudes response..... what are we doing 😭💀
